Yerba Mate and Indigo?

#1

Forgive me if I’ve not posted in the proper place (never posted anything before) or if this question has been answered (I couldn’t find it).

I have started Indigo and I’d like to know if it’s okay to drink yerba mate. I normally have five or six cups a day. I know I need to avoid tea but technically yerba mate is not a tea, it’s a type of holly plant from what I understand.

Thank you in advance for your replies.

Quercetin and other compounds (anthocyanins and anthocyanidins) can either inhibit or diminish the effects of <a href="http://www.t-nation.com/store/products/indigo-3g"target=“new”>Indigo-3G, at least when consumed too close to an Indigo-3G serving. Yerba mate could pose a risk then since it does contain quercetin and you consume a lot of it.

Once you’re on a maintenance dose of Indigo-3G you could add yerba mate back in and just keep it separated from Indigo-3G by several hours, just in case. The effects of Indigo-3G are enormous and it’s better to play it safe and not risk decreasing those effects.

Thank you very much for the response. I’ll follow your suggestion and avoid it.
