Workout Nutrition for Grappling Tourney


I am looking for some advice and information on fueling the body through a grappling tournament. I am likely to have about 3-4 matches at a maximum of 10 minutes per match. The matches are pretty close to each other, if not back to back.

That’s a great question, Howie. That type of competition is intense. Much harder than it looks to the outside observer.

A tournament like this, with that timeframe, could be viewed much the same way as a weight training workout with short rest periods. The first consideration would be pre-tournament nutrition. <a href=""target=“new”>Finibars would fit the bill perfectly.

To increase explosive power, <a href=""target=“new”>GPC Fast-Acting Shot, one capful, can be taken 90 minutes before the competition. The enhanced cognition would be perfect for that sport as well.

During the event, we’d suggest simply replacing water with <a href=""target=“new”>Plazma, pre-loading a full dose about 15 minutes before beginning. Depending on the length of the matches, consume one or two more servings as you can. If you’re still using Indigo-3G, have one serving pre-event. Indigo-3G is measurable in the blood for at least 6 hours so you’ll be covered.
