Work PT Tests While on V-Diet?


I was planning to start the v-diet next week BUT, I have my yearly PT test for work in 3 weeks. Tests consist of 3 mile run, sprint, push ups, situps, body drags, etc, fairly intense cardio.

My question is will being on the v-diet will hurt my performance with this due to lack of carbs, not to mention just the obsvious diet changes.

I have to perform well on the tests. Should I just hold off on starting the diet after the test?


The fat loss itself would improve performance. If this is a one day test, you could also carb up the night before, eat normal HSMs the day of the test, then go back right back on the V-Diet. If you need to do a lot of cardio pre-test to prep for it, I’d suggest waiting.
