Weight Stagnation

Hi,

on Sunday i’ll finish my third week of the velocity diet. The first two weeks i lost 11,2 lbs. I weighed this morning and in the third week i lost only 1,1 lbs. I’ve kept exactly to the plan and use also the HOT-ROX.

Is it normal to lose only 1,1lbs in the third week. I know a argument is that in the velocity diet it is possible even to gain some muscle, so that the weight loss could be small. But when i look in the mirror i can’t see much difference to the end of week two.

So my question is does it make sence to reduce the calories ? Any other suggestions ?

You’re 12 pounds down in 20 or 21 days. Do you realize that’s the fastest fat loss possible this side of liposuction?

How are the tape measurements?

How much weight did you lose in the first 3 days? I lost about 7 lbs in the first 4 days of my V-Diet. I attribute 99% of that to water weight and to put it delicately, the evacuation of solid food from my digestive system.

If you are still averaging 2-3 lbs a week after the initial couple days, you have to figure that is mostly bodyfat, which is an amazing rate of fat loss.

I weighed myself every morning when I woke up, but I didn’t get too hung up on the day-to-day fluctuations. Rather I looked at the trend over the weeks, which was steadily down.

Don’t get too focused on the numbers on the scale. Keep going and assess your measurements, weight, and pictures after 28 days and then again after the 2 week transition period.

I’m really happy with my total weight loss and body transformation so far. But my concerns are that it has slowed down in the third week.
I’ve put a lot of effort in the diet so far. Day 3-5 were really hard.

Regarding my measurements please have a look at the upper arm figures. Anything to worry about.
I’m asking because this week I had a kind of slight pain in the biceps at the evening and sometimes in the morning.

If I’m reading this right, you’re worried about less than a half an inch loss on the arm measurements? If so, then don’t forget that your arms store fat too. You lost fat there. No worries.
