Are you supposed to walk every day or just the days you don’t workout?

Every day if possible. More NEPA never hurts as long as it’s true NEPA and not “cardio.”

To keep it NEPA where would you say the my heart rate should be at? 70% of my max?

I’ve never bothered measuring heart rate. Not needed. Overrated i.e. “fat burning zone” is largely a myth.

That said, don’t get out of breath. Breathing should be a little heavier than normal, but you should be able to carry on a conversation.
