So, today marked day 1 of my Velocity Diet and training sessions. Although I am a regular gym goer I have never focused much on free weights so I am doing the beginner workouts. Although I have been occasionally hungry over the day, I am pleasantly surprised by how much you can actually eat healthily for the HSM and still keep in the calorie guidelines…loving the veg! Workout was good too so fingers crossed things continue in a positive vein. Only thing I’m gonna miss over the period is not running as I’ve been building up my distances but I aim to do lots of walking and then get back to running afterwards.
Can’t quite bring myself to put up my before pictures but I’m 46, 5ft9.5 and weigh in at 184 pounds, the heaviest I’ve been which is awful. Although I aim to cut 20-30 pounds in weight I am more interested in toning up, getting a better body shape, cutting fat and changing my eating habits.
