V-Life Chanko

Hey all,

I loved the original Chanko diet, so I decided to do a V-life twist.

1 lb ground beef
1 lb black beans
Mixed vegetables
Seasoning to taste

Brown the meat seasoned to taste, cook the beans and vegetables, combine in suitable container. Enjoy.

I got 5 pint size containers out of this amount on ingredients.

For those not familiar with the original chanko plan on TNation, it was rice-based. So this version would be much lower in carbs.

It wasn’t too bad, I need to work on my been prep skills though and find ways to add some more flavor.

Looks good, I bet some cumin, chili powder and a dash of cayenne would be delish, kinda like a tex-mex.

Sounds like it could be fun. As with many things this is a work in progress
