V-Diet Monologues

One of the items to check off my list is getting this forum started. I am going to do some pre VDiet prep to work through various issues. I know there will be. So…
Here it goes…

T-minus 4 Days, 17 hours, 56 minutes until I start.

Purchased Velocity Diet components:
V-Diet
Indigo-3G
Multi-vitamins, ZMA, D, couple of other men support supplements.

I will be taking HOT-ROX and Alpha Male during the time. I have some already in stock. Need to confirm if there will be enough for the entire Alpha Male cycle.
Creatine will be used.

Here is my checklist prior to starting.

  • Start blog about the process in the VDiet site.
  • Create Calendar
  • Plan out diet on calendar sheet.
  • Pack vitamin packs for morning noon and night along with any packs to take during day; label packs for each day.
  • Start creatine supplementation to get used to water intake.
  • Pre cycle phase in of morning walks and lifting schedule required to execute cycle to overcome any scheduling hurdles or unknown preparation needs.
  • Purchase mixers or storage bottles.
  • Bloodwork being done prior to cycle.
  • Pictures, weigh in, and measurements on day 1.
  • Research some HSM recipes and plan those.
    WATER, WATER, WATER…

About 8 years back I did the original V-Diet…and I mean O R I G I N A L…so there is experience with problems that may be encountered. The list above will help lay the framework for success.

While a multivitamin won’t hurt, most people really don’t need it because Superfood has you covered. Extra vitamin D is great though. Most people need to supplement it, regardless of diet.

Really interested to see blood work results. About day 9 I thought about that, and wished I had done that first. Hope you’ll be sharing the changes. Good luck!

4/19/15 - Day 01

9:15 - HOT-ROX dose (1 cap), Nepa walk 2 miles; 12 push ups
10:00 - Shake 1 (choc), Flameout
12:30 - shake 2 (choc), Flameout
15:30 - shake 3 (straw), Flameout
18:15 - HSM; whole wheat tortilla with pesto, chick, asparagus, sun dried tomato, broccoli, and a little jalapeno cheddar.
20:15 - ZMA, Alpha Male, vit d
21:30 - shake (straw), Flameout

Felt full all day, actually ate the HSM very slowly and left a couple bites on the plate.

Ended up with 13,205 steps for the day, ~5.97 miles
135.6 ox of water consumed beyond shakes.

4/20/15 - Day 02

4:15 - HOT-ROX dose (1 cap), full dose of Brain Candy, Nepa walk 2 miles; 13 push ups
7:00 - Shake 1 (vanilla), Flameout; creatine
11:00 - Shake 2 (choc), Flameout; 2nd dose HOT-ROX
15:00 - shake 3 (choc), Flameout
18:15 - Indigo 3, 6 caps

Good day today. Think I overdid it on the stimulants with HOT-ROX and Brain candy. had the caffeine jitters and nausea 3/4 way through my walk. Tomorrow I will try half a dose of BC before the walk. No urges all day. Drank water. Also walked a lap around the work bldg every 20 mins or so.

Needed to mention that I am taking Creatine and Circumin (seems to make my aches feel better).
Neglected to take the indigo 3 with my HSM on 4/18. Made it a point to take it today.
Tomorrow is workout day. Get to lift some weights and see how the energy levels are.

4/21 Day 03

Engergy level hit me like a ton of bricks today 1/3 in to my walk this morning! Just ground through it and completed the walk. Weird…

5:30 - 2nd half of Brain Candy
7:00 - Shake 1 (vanilla), Flameout; creatine
11:00 - Plazma Pre workout
13:00 - shake 2 (choc), Flameout
16:00 - shake 3 (choc), Flameout
18:15 - Indigo 3, 6 caps
19:00 - HSM; smoked salmon on greens, tomato, mushroom salad, pinch of parm and some balsamic. Flameout
Really concentrating on eating slowly. Amazed at the feeling of getting full before the meal is done. Left a bit or two on the plate.
21:00 - ZMA, Alpha Male, vit d, circumin
21:45 - shake (straw), Flameout

Workout went well. I started out with the beginner routine as my last visit to gym was about a year ago and they were movements I don’t normally do. Little too easy. Was able to complete reps within 4 sets. I will finish the week and move to the Intermediate routine next week.
