V-Diet 3.0 - Threebrain's Journey

Tomorow begins the journey. Got everything today, it was like Christmas! Photos and measurments later tonight.

Small update.

Weight 202 lbs
Height 6’1"
Body Fat % 23.5
LBM 155 lbs

My gym has a Tanita scale so i can get a little more dialed each weigh in.

Pics and measurements will probably come tomorrow.

It’s the first day and I’m PUMPED!

Had the first meal o’ the day. HOT-ROX don’t seem to be effecting me much.

I also have a dilemma, I’m on a Rugby team. We practice Wed-Thu 6:30-8:00 pm. It’s A LOT of conditioning. On top of that I’m in the US Army and I have to be able to run 2 miles in under 16 mins. The only upside right now, I make my own PT time. So, I’m not doing organized training i.e. Running 5 miles 5 days a week. Does anyone have suggestions on what I should do, being that I must do CARDIO?

Started the workouts on monday, diet started today. seems a little misguided i know, but i wanted to start. Plus the packages didn’t come until Tuesday.

Beginner Workouts
Mon: Workout 1
40 Reps, 6-8 RM
DB Squat- 55x15, 60x16, 9x70 (couldn’t guess well on this one)
DB Press- 32.5x13, 40x11, 45x10, 45x6
Bent-Over Row DB- 45x7, 45x6, 45x8, 45x8, 45x6, 45x5
Plank Hold as long as I could, didn’t have a watch.

Wed: Workout 2
50 Reps, 14-16 RM
RDL- 135x16, 135x14, 135x16, 185x4
Lat Pull UH- 80x14, 80x11, 80x9, 80x9, 80x7
Stand Shoulder Press DB- 25x14, 25x9, 25x6, 25x8, 25x8, 25x5
Side Plank-30sec R, 28sec L, 26sec R, 25sec L

Diet is going well, people are ridiculing me, but whatever.

Incline DB Press- 35 x 9, 9, 8, 9, 5

Lat Pull Wide- 100 x 8, 6, 6, 4, 5, 4, 4, 3

Plank Hold- 48 sec, 40, 39, 41

Day 3 was a bitch.

Yeah. I felt the same way on day 3. It gets better though…much better. Tough it out and in a copule days you’ll have your first HSM, and then you will be on cruize control.

DB Squat: 120 lbs x 9, 9, 4, 9, 9 (Still seems way too light for 8-9, anybody else have this problem?)

DB Bench: 50 x 9, 6, 4, 6, 6, 6, 3

Bent-over Row DB: 50 x 8, 5, 4, 6, 4, 4, 5, 4

Plank Hold: 4 x 57 sec, 36, 42, 35

Also I had a Diet “hiccup.”

I will be doing V-Diet Lite which consists of 1 HSM a day, because of my workload.

Ready to get to it!
