Total Reps

I’m thinking of starting this program in a week or 2 and have a question regarding the workout. I’m sure I’m on the right track, but I just want to be sure to get the max for my time and money.

I’ll be doing the intermediate workout, and I noticed for the first day there are 4 exercises.
Total Reps are 20
Load is Heavy (4-5 RM)

So does this mean I do a total of 20 reps for each exercise which could equate to 4-5 sets depending on the 4-5 reps I use?

And the 4th day has (Sat/Sun), does this mean I do the workout on either Saturday or Sunday, or on both days?

  1. On the first set, pick a load that’s a 4-5 rep max. Let’s say you get 5 reps. On every set after that, keep the same load. If you chose the load right, you will not get 5 reps every time of course, if you follow the rest period rules. Get a total of 20 reps, regardless of how many sets it takes.

  2. Choose Sat or Sun.
