090316: Day 8/28

Exercise: Adv Workout Monday (25 sec Rest)

  • Bo BB Row UG: 175x5,175x5,155x5,155x5
    Notes: Start at 155 next time for better form.
  • OH Squat: 95x5,95x5,95x5,95x5
    Notes: Increase by 10lbs next time
  • Dips: (BW+88)5,4,3,3,2,2,1
    Notes: 35KB+53KB perfect weight
  • Ab-Wheel (Sub): 5,5,5,5
    Notes: Forgot Ab-Wheel again. Had to do walk-out extended pushups. They were harder than using an Ab-Wheel and about right for level of effort.
    NEPA: Lots of walking and going up and down stairs.

Diet:

  • No change in diet

Notes/Observations:

  • exercised with my Vibram FiveFingers. That was good.
  • Forgot water for after-workout drink. Had to take it late, my body was screaming for something.
  • Still a little late on sleep but getting it down.

090317: Day 9/28

Exercise: Off day
NEPA: 35 Minutes walk and running up and down stairs at work.

Diet:

  • No change to plan.
  • Did make some fresh combo peanut/almond butter in my Vitamix so I can enjoy a little change in things. Shake tasted better.

Notes/Observations:

  • None significant for today.

090318: Day 10/28

Exercise: Adv Wednesday 40 Reps

  • PU/PD WG:8xBW,8x140,8x160,6x150,5x150,4x140
    Notes:Did one set of pullups and moved over to Lat PDs.
  • Inc DB Bench Press:5x(8x53)
    Notes: Used KBs instead, worked well.
  • Romanian DL:5x(8x225)
    Notes: Excellent weight but may go a little higher next week.
  • BB Curl:5x(8x55)
    Notes:Will go up to 65 next week.
  • Hanging Knee Raise:(BW)15,13,12
    Notes: Burned through these really quick. Hanging Legs next week.
    NEPA: Walking around building and running up and down stairs.

Diet:

  • On Plan.

Notes/Observations:

  • Nothing out of the ordinary for this diet.

090319: Day 11/28

Exercise: Off day
NEPA: 35 Minutes walk and running up and down stairs at work.

Diet:

  • No change to plan.

Notes/Observations:

  • None significant for today.
  • Still working on the sleep issue. forcing myself to go to bed earlier.

090320: Day 12/28

Exercise: Adv Workout Friday
NEPA: Did walk up and down stairs until I got beat up in the afternoon.

Diet:

  • On track, had a minor deviation because medicine and shake don’t mix too well going down.

Notes/Observations:

  • Today really sucked because I got very sick this afternoon and had to take myself home on autopilot because I felt very bad.

Had a Scintilating Scotoma attach, usually a precursor to a VERY bad headache and had to recuse myself from everything. I knew it was bad when I was getting blinded by the sunlight outside. So, Friday’s workout will be done tomorrow and Sunday will be the Waterbury cardio killer.

Well, this diet ended up going by the wayside. I got sick and it screwed up everything so I’ve had to recuperate and will most likely pick up with a slightly modified version later. I won’t be posting here any more since the change will be different from the Velocity Diet.
