I’m on day 4 of the Velocity diet and am finding the night time is kicking my butt. I’m good all day with 3 shakes, but as soon as I eat my one meal for the day I am hit with hunger that doesn’t go away even with my nightly shake. I’m beginning to wonder if it isn’t better to cut out the solid food all together and stay with shakes to combat this problem.
What are you having for your HSM? Any “trigger” foods? Any milk, wheat or added sugar?
You can of course replace the HSM with another shake, but let’s make sure the HSM is okay.
Last night it was an 8oz grilled chicken breast(skinless), broccoli, and a small portion of brown rice. Night before was grilled pork tenderloin, grilled brussels sprouts, small size baked potato. I’m thinking it might be a mental link between the solid food and the idea of being hungry and needing to “eat” rather than actually needing it.
Yeah, those meal choices are great. No problems there.
Many people are used to snacking after dinner, usually watching TV. It can be a tough habit to break, but it’s doable.
