Day 2 recap:
Pretty easy so far, no real headaches or hunger problems.
I’m starting to get used to the taste of the shakes. Still have to heavily dilute the vanilla shakes and then slam them, but the others flavors are getting better.
Before I forget again, I did get in a NEPA walk on Monday around 6:00pm, 45 minutes around the neighborhood with the dog.
I ran out of time before bowling last night and had to fit in the NEPA walk later around 10:30pm (~40 min). Is that too late in the day? I was still able to fall asleep pretty easily after the walk.
The only real time I have felt inclined to cheat is between 5-6pm. I have become so accustomed to leaving work at 5:30 and eating at 6 that I get a pavlovian response to that time of day now.
I am eating the Peanut butter straight up instead of mixing it with the 6pm shake. I love peanut butter and looking forward to actually eating something every day makes it so much easier to get through the tough times.
Serving size questions:
I think the answer is obvious, but want to check just in case.
The diet guidelines say to take two servings of milled flax a day. The box of flax I got lists one serving as 2tbsp. However, the nutritional information on the box for one serving is the same as the diet listed for two servings.
So should I be consuming 2tbsp (one serving by the box of flax) or 4tbsp (two servings by the diet)? So far I have been have 2tbsp, one at noon and one at 6pm.
Also, The peanut butter label reads one serving is 2 tbsp and the nutritional information matches that of the diet. Is 2 tbsp the correct amount to have a day?
