The Words Peri and Pre

Are the words Peri and Pre used interchangeably? I thought Peri referred to both pre and post. There is a lot of information and I want to make sure I’m understanding the questions and answers.

I know this probably sounds like a stupid question, but this would really help me follow all info.

Not silly at all. We made that word up only a year ago or so!

Peri means “around” – pre, during, and post-workout.

So, eating a FINiBAR before workout, sipping Surge during, and have some MAG-10 after is peri-workout nutrition.

“Para” is sometimes used but peri is more accurate.

Thanks for clearing that up.
