Starting a little experiment right now and was hoping that you could clear a few things up.

Alpha Male:

Label instructions say to cycle it (5 days on 2 off) if I workout 6 days a week would it be more beneficial to take it on an off day?

Is it better to take it before or after a workout? (Following Plazma and MAG-10 protocol fyi)

Start with the max dosage (4 tabs a day) or the lower (2 tabs a day)?

Rez- V:

Recommended dosage fasted in the morning or before/after workout?

Rhodiola:

Take it with the Alpha Male?

Will any of these interact with Plazma or MAG-10 in anyway that would lessen their results?

Sorry for the mass questions.

All of those supplements are fine to use with <a href="http://www.t-nation.com/store/products/plazma"target=“new”>Plazma and <a href="http://www.t-nation.com/store/products/mag-10"target=“new”>Mag-10.

<a href="http://www.t-nation.com/store/products/alpha-male"target=“new”>Alpha Male is designed to keep T elevated throughout the day, so as long as you take servings 6-8 apart, it doesn’t matter if what time of the day they’re taken. Most users simply have a dose in the morning and a dose in the afternoon or early evening.

As for days of the week, again, it doesn’t matter as long as the cycling recommendations are followed. There are advantages to having elevated T both on training days and on off days (for recovery). A simple method here is to take Alpha Male in the weekdays and take weekends off.

I’d suggest starting with the max dosage.

With <a href="http://www.t-nation.com/store/products/rez-v"target=“new”>Rez-V, just be consistent when you take it: the same time every day. It doesn’t matter when during the day.

There’s no problem taking Alpha Male at the same time as you take <a href="http://www.t-nation.com/store/products/rhodiola"target=“new”>Rhodiola, though there are some advantages to timing one serving of Rhodiola pre-workout.

I do not see anything on the Alpha Male ingredients list that would be on any banned substance list…Is there anything there to worry about?

Since different organizations have different rules, it’s hard to say. I’ve never seen the ingredients of Alpha Male on any banned list, but some of these lists are vague, and some are so strict they even include caffeine and creatine, so it’s always best to check with the sporting organization and be sure.

Chris,

Are you still taking Indigo-3G? I’m about to start up on it again after taking a month off after about 11 months on. Just wanted to get your opinion on if its still worth the investment after taking it for so long, or if my cells have corrected themselves.

I still use the maintenance dose and swear by it. Once most people have gone through at least 8 weeks of full dosage, then maintenance dosage (6 capsules daily) is probably all they need during most of their training cycles. I can see the advantage of going back to full dosage for a couple of weeks if you’ve been off of Indigo-3G for an extended period. Not absolutely necessary probably, but that’s what I’d do. Also, if one were doing a “mass phase” where calories and carbs are being greatly ramped up, I’d personally feel more comfortable back on full dosage during that period over planned overeating.
