I know its a lunkhead title for a thread, but at least its honest…
I recently read this article on TN:
…which gave the outline listed below for peri-workout nutrition.
Ive been trying to find a new peri-workout plan and would like to give this approach a go.
Can you tell me which products would be used in this approach (besides C3G)?
In the comments to the article some items were suggested (in parenthesis below.) Hoping you can confirm those and fill in the gaps.
Thanks for your help. My apologies if this is already a thread somewhere else on the forum. I wasnt sure exactly what to search for to find it.
45 MIN PRIOR:
- 40 to 50 grams of easily digested functional carbohydrates
- about 35-40 grams of unique di- and tripeptides
(A serving of MAG-10 and a Finibar)
15 MINS PRIOR:
- another 35 to 40 grams of a special functional carbohydrate blend
- another 15 to 20 grams of quick-acting protein, also in liquid form.
- cyanin 3-glucoside (C3G)
(Plazma and Indigo-3G)
Sip a combination of this same special carbohydrate blend and di and tripeptide formulation.
Small protein drink or pulse.
