Back for round 2 of V-Diet 3.0.
First round went really well 3 months ago…until the transition phase. That’s when the wheels came off. I didn’t totally blow it or anything, but the transition phase wasn’t done to the ‘T’, and that bothered the crap out of me. Mentally, I had prepared myself for 28 days of velocity immersion. To do it correctly and transition successfully, I should have been prepared for all 42 days. Now I am.
I had planned on doing another round in the fall, but since an injury has prompted me to back off of some distance running training immediately, this seems like a good time to do it again…and do it right the whole way through so that I won’t have to do it again for a looooooonggg time. And so I can get back to running by mid-September. I’m kind of a perfectionist, and feel very committed to killing this thing for real this time. Can’t wait to get to the transition to prove to myself I can do it right. I’m so pissed I f’ed it up that far in!
