Satin clouds are cold, ice-cream-like desserts positively loaded with sugar and calories. But they can easily be made with sugar-free substitutions. And the best part? You can’t taste the difference! Here’s how to make them.

Ingredients:

1 cup vanilla or plain unsweetened almond milk
1 package of fat-free, sugar-free, instant, white chocolate pudding mix
1 tub thawed sugar-free Cool Whip
1 can sugar-free pie filling (cherry)

Directions:

  1. Pour almond milk into a bowl and add pudding mix. Whisk until well blended, then stir in Cool Whip.

  2. Drop into mounds on a piece of wax paper or cookie sheet. Use the back of a spoon to make an indention in each mound. Freeze for three hours.

  3. Remove from freezer and fill each “cloud” with sugar-free pie filling.

Variation:

Use vanilla pudding, sprinkle in some cinnamon, and use sugar-free apple pie filling instead of cherry.
