My story is not much different from anyone else I suppose. I was a high school football and tennis player and was pretty fit. Like so many others, during college I took more interest in drinking beer than working out. Now at 30 years old with a wife and a two year old girl, I want to reclaim my life and body. Although embarrassed with my pictures right now, I am posting them to give me motivation to improve. I sit at a desk all day, so physical activity at work is non existent.
I have already lost about 55 lbs. in the past 17 months. I ballooned up to 275 pounds and got sick and tired of being a fat ass. I have already adapted a healthy paleo diet, although I do cheat from time to time. The first 40 pounds came off with diet alone. I have been “working out” at the gym the past four months and it has allowed me to lose another 15 pounds. My current weight is about 215-220.
I am doing the V-Diet to push me through my plateau, give me a plan, and get me to my goal weight. I did my measurements tonight and took these pictures. My V-Diet starts tomorrow (Monday).
