Spike Shotgun Original or Orange Gold?

#1

What flavor do you prefer: taste wise and overall in general?

Thank you.

You’ll probably get a wide variety of answers there. Most people will lean toward original simply because “red” has been established as the go-to flavor for energy drinks. The first energy drinks on the wide market were berry-ish. In the wider world of foods and flavors, a berry-like flavor usually wins out over orange, sort of like how we have tons of ice cream flavors but vanilla and chocolate are still the top sellers. Me? I prefer orange <a href="http://www.t-nation.com/store/products/spike-energy-drink"target=“new”>Spike Shotgun, which is perfect because my wife commandeers all the original!

Orange Gold. It tastes like Minute Maid orange soda.

I remember when they had a flavor called Lemon Slice in the big cans. I wish they would reintroduce it in the smaller cans.

Is the ingredient makeup the same for both the flavors?

The active ingredients are the same for both flavors. Of course, Spike Shotgun, Shooter, Double Shot and Spike tablets each have unique formulas. Click the “View Label” button at the store for info on each.
