Some tips I've tried


There was a post about flax seed upsetting stomachs. I just used my Magic Bullet grinder and ground up a handful of flax seed. It was the milled kind according to the can but was still pretty course.

The texture made it hard to mix and drink. I ground it into almost a powder and it mixes well and is very drinkable. Not sure if grinding nullifies the fiber effect. You could also use a coffee grinder I assume. Remember to still refrigerate and only do smaller amounts. Maybe a couple days worth.

I also took someone’s advice and used spices, etc. Cinnamon in the chocolate MD made it taste much better. I’m going to try orange extract in the banana MD. I also have to try some mint extract in the chocolate. Didn’t get any vanilla. Next time!
