Hello,

While this is mainly addressed to Captain Shugart, anyone’s insight would be greatly appreciated.

How much fat could I expect to lose in the first two weeks of the V-Diet? What were your results from a shortened V-Diet?

  1. Depends on how much you HAVE to lose. Typical rule of thumb is the fatter you are, the faster it comes off. A person starting at 25% body fat is going to lose it faster than the guy at 10% wanting to hit 6%. Aside from that, it’s just a wild guess. Much depends on how dedicated and strict you are to the plan.

  2. Shortened V-Diet are fine, but those powerful taste/craving/habit changes typically don’t kick in until the 3 week point. So, a short V-Diet shortchanges you on those benefits. I suggest all or nothing.
