I’m 2 weeks into the V-Diet, and not really having any issues sticking to the diet or workouts.
I box Mon and Weds before weights, and do full contact weapon sparring on Tues and Thurs. I know you don’t recommend extra work during the diet, but I still compete, so not practicing isn’t really an option.
I’m getting killed on the non workout days when I’m sparring. My energy level is a bit low (I get that) but my timing and reflexes are also off, so I’m just flat out getting hit more than usual. Anything I can do that won’t compromise the diet?
I’ll deal if the answer is “no, you just gotta suffer through it” but I thought I’d ask.
Have half a serving of Surge just before and during sparring sessions.
