Ready, But Questions and a Problem

#1

ok i will be going on my first Velocity diet within the next month, but before i begin i have some questions. while on the V-Diet i while be doing some pulse fasts also, seven pulse fasts all together. one during the first week and two each week for the last three weeks. i also plan on taking HOT-ROX.

my problem is i work part time and i work the midnight shift(11pm-7:30am) three days a week, most likely on consecutive days. how should i handle this on the day i start the midnight shifts? i will have to sleep extra on the day i start my shifts so should i just wake up and have a shake or two, then sleep 4-6 hours, wake up and spread my shakes evenly while im awake at work? im guessing on this day i WILL be hungry because of the extra time. also how about on the day i end my shifts?

now my questions

  1. is the 2 week transition period necessary? i will only need about 3 tubs of Metabolic Drive for the transition correct? im 190. dues to funds i might or might not be able to afford this, but most likely i will, but im almost certain i wont be able to afford any more Flameout, leucine and stuff.

  2. on non workout days i only take five shakes correct? and on workout days its five plus Surge.

  3. should i evenly spread HOT-ROX through out the day one pill at a time or do two pills at a time like the bottle says?

  4. its fine if i buy my own flax seeds and grind them myself correct?

  5. on days after my pulse fast should i resume my normal v diet schedule? is that enough for the “rebound effect”

  6. on pulse fast days should i still take HOT-ROX?

  7. i work as a barback at a large casino so i do tons of walking and medium lifting(beer cases, pushing cargo on a dolly) could i count this as nepa on days that i work? on days that i am able to go outside i plan on going for a brisk 30 minute walk preferably before breakfast with my HOT-ROX but if im not able to go outside say because its raining will jumping jacks inside be sufficient? how many? how long?

this is about all for now but i think im forgetting a few questions.

Just my thoughts:

  1. do as much transition as you can. Even if it’s just 1-2 shakes a day

  2. Yes

  3. Either or, which ever works for you, I say just take them both.

  4. Probably - as long as you get them grinded up really well. You can’t digest a whole flax seed. I’d suggest the pre-packaged kind.

  5. Yes- just drink your shakes as normal.

  6. you can, though some might have issues with that

  7. What you already do at work doesn’t count as nepa in my mind, if it’s raining, walk the treadmill on a slight incline

  8. Drink your shakes every 2.5-3.5 hours so to answer your first half of the post drink while you’re awake, regardless of when you get up.

Are you doing the workouts at home then?

You could do some jumping jacks, but the point of NEPA is an increased heart rate and preps the body with fat burning hormones/chemicals/etc

So jumping jacks might increase your heart rate too high. Nepa is non exercise physical activity - not cardio or strenuous.

Got stairs you can walk up and down? Heck even just stepping up and down a box for a while would work. Sure there’s plenty you can do to get your heart rate up, but you don’t want to over do it. So if you can’t find a treadmill or stairs or ever walk outside ( even if it’s six 5 minute walks ) then you can probably create something of your own to do.

Lunges might work.

lol for 20 minutes?

Regarding the no treadmill or stairs thing:
If the only thing stopping you from going outside for a walk is rain, why not get an umbrella?

Not trying to be a smartass here (ask Corst and Chris, I’m a nice guy, if a bit neurotic at times  ), but I walk over an hour every day, whether it’s raining or not. And I hate umbrellas, so I actually do it without one if it’s raining.

There’s always a way.

Maybe not 20 minutes straight, but do some lunges here and there. Better than nothing. Just trying to throw out an idea, you don’t want it to be anything too intense.

what issues might i have with taking HOT-ROX on my pulse days? also can i add creatine to Surge or should i leave it out the V-Diet?

A few people experience nausea when taking fat burners on an empty stomach (I’m one of them.) But you may not.

You can add creatine (5g), just remember that it may mess with scale weight readings (water weight.)

in regards to drinking while im awake should i stick to 5 shakes per 24 hour period or just drink 2.5-3.5 hours no matter what? on days that i beging my graves i will be up more hours than normal days.

I would stick to the 5 shakes per 24… until Chris can answer or someone else. I haven’t encountered that. but I’d think sticking to 5 a day is better.

IF ANYTHING maybe 1 extra scoop that day to keep your hunger in check, but Im not certain so…

chris what do you think about this?
