Jim, the V-Burn Challenge is part of the workout regimen for those who are on the Velocity Diet. The exercises performed during the V-Burn Challenge are body-weight exercises, so there’s really no need for a post-workout recovery drink, such as Surge Recovery.

So to answer your second question, Surge Recovery is a post-workout recovery drink designed to refuel your muscles with the right kinds of carbohydrates and protein.

Jim, if you’d like to know more about the training program in the Velocity Diet, check out this link:

http://velocity.t-nation.com/free_online_program/sports_body_training_diet_velocity/velocity_diet_30#velocity-training/secrets-to-velocity-training

Once you’re there, you’ll see two little blue sub-tabs. One says, “Secrets to Velocity Training,” and the other says, “Training Program.”

If you click on Training Program, you can navigate through the workout regimen by selecting your level (Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced).

Give it a shot, and let us know if you have any more questions!
