I was wondering about adding more water to a dose of Plazma than called for (i.e., more than 500ml). Wouldn’t the addition of more water change the concentration of carbs? I know that carb containing drinks should not have more than 8% carb content in order to assure efficiency of gastric emptying during exercise. Could too dilute a carb solution have effects on gastric emptying during exercise?
The reason I ask is that I, like many, will be using 1 loading dose of Plazma, then 1 dose during training. The suggested 500ml of water would simply be too little for me.
