I've been looking around at these pancake recipes, and while they look delicious they sure do look calorie dense, close to 1000 kcal per batch....
My favorite so far that tastes great and is not too calorie dense is very simple:
1/2 cup cottage cheese
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup egg white
Dash of Splenda
Put in blender then throw it in the pan... I usually just make one large one and cut it in four. I usually top with some Omega 3 butter (very little) and a little sugar free syrup.
All in all comes to just under 400 kcal, which seems much more doable on a diet.
Anyways, I am sure this is a popular recipe but just wanted to share with the group.
Oh ya, and have a small glass of unsweetened almond milk with it... really good!
