Chris, I’m a masters olympic lifter that is looking to shed some fat. My diet is okay, not great, but not bad either. I’ve read alot about the V-Diet and am debating running it this summer between meets. Will an Olympic weightlifting routine work for the diet?? My weight is about 184 lbs at 5’7" and 37 yrs old. I appreciate any advice you can give me!!
I think you’d be fine. I’d rather see a non-endurance athlete manipulate his diet rather than just adding extra cardio.
What you could do is start the plan as written, then we could evaluate it after a week to see if it needs any tweaks.
