I wake up early and workout first thing in the morning. Alarm rings at 6 AM and I’m normally getting to the gym by 6:30 AM (short bike ride).
I’m currently bulking. I workout 6 days a week doing p/p/l twice a week (based off kingbeef’s routine in the sticky’s).
Recently I’ve been waking up and mixing 1 scoop of Optimum whey protein with a cup of orange juice. Then during my workout it’s 1 scoop gatorade powder mixed in with 1 scoop BCAA 5000 powder. Post-workout shake is 50g protein 80 grams carbs 500 calories taken immediately after training.
I’ve just order a couple products from the Biotest line and wondered what would be the best peri-workout combo when working out first thing in the morning.
I’ll have FINiBARs, Surge Workout Fuel, Surge Recovery, and Grow! Whey available, in addition to some BCAA powder.
I was thinking:
upon waking up - Finibar, 1 scoop Grow! Whey, 1 scoop Surge Workout Fuel
during workout - 1 scoop Surge Workout Fuel, 1 scoop BCAAs
post workout - 2 scoops Surge Recovery, 1 scoop Grow! Whey
30-45 mins post-workout I slam 4 whole eggs, 2 chicken sausages, 1 cup oatmeal, 1.5 cups milk.
