It is more convenient for me to do a light cardio workout (elliptical, bike) at the gym instead of a walk around the neighborhood - which I guess is not technically a NEPA…it’s an EPA - but a light one - like that low level fat burning setting on the gym machines. - for between 45 - 60 min. Is that okay?

Sure, keep it light and it’s fine. Think “movement” for NEPA, not “cardio” and you’re good to go.
