Non-Flour, Non-Dairy Chocolate Cake

Tried this recipe yesterday, it was some kind of improvisation, but came out really good:


2 Cups Grounded Hazelnuts
4 Eggs
3 Tea Spoons Cocoa Powder
4 Table Spoons Coconut Cream
1 Package Dark Chocolate (70%+)
1/4 Cup Coconut Oil
1/2 package of Baking Powder
Stevia (depending on your taste)

Mix the Eggs, the Cocoa Powder, the Baking Powder, the Hazelnuts and the Coconut Cream together in a big bowl, if it’s too dusty you could add some Coconut Milk.
Take a large knife and cut the first half of the Chocolate into tiny bits, put it in your bowl.
Taste the mixture and add as much Stevia as you think is necessary. Melt the Coconut Oil, take the first half and put it in your mixture. The other half should be enough to cover your cake pan.
Put your “dough” into your cake pan and put it in the stove for 30 minutes at 200Ã?° Celsius (Should be around 390Ã?° Fahrenheit).

While your Cake is in the stove melt the rest of the Chocolate, add Spices or if you want a not-so-healthy alternative some liquor, for your own taste (I took some Licor 43). If the cake is done, let it cool for a few minutes and cover it in your melted Chocolate.

I would recommend to let the whole cake cool overnight, before eating it, but I guess you could eat it right out of the stove :wink:

P.S. The whole cake turned out a bit eggy, so I’m wondering if I should replace one egg with an egg white the next time, but if you don’t mind the taste -> Go for it!
