My first day on the Velocity Diet! Man do I have a lot of weight to lose. I lost about 25 pounds in 2017, but it all crept back on over the past two years. I’ve realized that I have a few bad eating habits, sugar cravings/addiction and emotional/stress eating. I probably exercise more than most, but I always eat way too much to have a nice body.

If anyone has advice about how to conquer sugar cravings, let me know.

Day 1 Stats:
Weight 243.4 lbs

Lost 0.75 inches on my waist and 5 pounds. I lost about an inch of fat around my thighs also. If I can continue this pace, I should lose 18 pounds in the 28 day diet.

I’d hoped to achieve better results with this diet. Therefore, I’m doubling down on my commitment to be 100% compliant with the diet. I had a few cheat meals this week, being it was Thanksgiving.

Weird and certainly not expected. How was compliance post-Thanksgiving? It could be as simple an explanation as going a little carb heavy closer to weigh-in, that pulled water and skewed the stats.

The way the plan is setup, because it’s just 4 weeks, everything needs to be dialed in and kept on point. Slip-ups can seem like a bigger deal because everything is time-compressed, but your current stats are still solid progress from where you started.

Remember that the plan does allow adjustments, so you can crackdown a bit on the HSM by dropping the carb content (which would also slightly reduce the total calories) to make a push in the final stretch here.

I’m going to extend one week. I haven’t been fully compliant and have some left over protein powder.
