Micro-PA Protocol and Question

#1

So here’s my current intake:

Indigo 3G before 7am workout at 630, and before lunch
Surge post workout
HOT-ROX pre workout (I like the mental boost)

If I add micro-PA, will it be

  1. At 6am when I wake up
  2. I’m not looking to gain much weight. Will this keep me lean? I’ve seen a lot of (gained 12 lbs) reviews, and I’d like the muscle gain but not that much.

Micro-PA is best used one hour before training on your lifting days. And yes, Micro-PA does have lypolytic (“fat burning”) properties.

Are you eating anything before training? Fasted weight training isn’t going to do much for you. And you’re not giving Micro-PA what it needs to work optimally either if training fasted. Same with Indigo-3G. More on fasted training: http://www.t-nation.com/diet-fat-loss/intermittent-fasting-kills-muscle

I also notice you’re only using post-workout nutrition. You need pre and intra too, especially if you’re training early with no breakfast. This could be solved by switching from Surge Recovery to <a href="http://www.t-nation.com/store/products/plazma"target=“new”>Plazma.

Also, if taking Indigo-3G twice per day, you need to separate the servings by at least 6 hours. Better to take that second serving before dinner.

I’m a little confused by your post. You worry about gaining too much muscle so you’re using 3 different supplements that help you gain muscle?

I like the Surge bc I just can’t stomach Plazma and it’s a little too costly for me personally.

I eat a well portioned serving of oatmeal in the morning, I should have mentioned that. I definitely am looking to gain muscle, but not 3 pants sizes worth, if that makes sense?

I think you’re mixing up gaining fat and gaining muscle, unless you mean quad/ham size. Anyway, gaining “too much muscle” is a problem most people would love to have.

If using Surge Recovery I’d suggest drinking some before, some during, and the rest after weight training. Or use Surge Workout Fuel for now since it’s an peri-workout supplement vs. just post. This will help you get the most out of your other supplementation.

or just get Surge Workout Fuel…
