Hi Chris, I have some questions abt my meal plan and use of supps.
i usually train within 1-2 hrs of waking. i always have a Mag-10 upon waking and use 6 Indigo-3G 1/2 hr before my peri workout (1 scoop Plazma). the problem is that isually have a Finibar with the MAG-10, or a little after, so i am not really taking my Indigo-3G on an empty stomach.
i find that i need at least the Mag-10 when i wake up before taking the Indigo-3G on a completely empty stomach (or it makes me ravenous). the problem is that i have a short time frame btwn the time i wake up and the time i train. what would be an ideal setup for pre-workout nutrition with Indigo-3G and this time frame?
also, i know this is a big no-no, but i always have tea when i first wake up. coffee is just too strong. sometime i take 500mg of tyrosine, as i feel it makes me more alert, but this has stopped working. i will have Brain Candy caffeine free in two weeks (as long as it passes through Chilean customs!-do you think i will have any problems? someone is bringing it for me in their luggage). will the Brain Candy caffeine free interfere with Indigo-3G or Mag-10? what will be the best setup with this addition?
i’ll also have Carbolin 19 in two weeks, and was wondering the best way to incrporate this with Indigo-3G. i’ve been considering going back on a full dose Indigo-3G for a month (that’s all i have to last right now for a full dose), since i haven’t been on full dose for at least 6 months. but maybe a combo of Indigo-3G and Carbolin 19 will be better at this point? my current goals are 1. strength and 2. hypertrophy. i’ve been making steady gains, but have added way too much fat for the lean gains i’ve made. however, i also think this is bc i am not properly utilizing my supps. 30 min pwo 1 Mag-10, 30 min later meal.
the other issue is that after the first actual “meal” pwo, the rest of my day is kind of all over the place in terms of meal timing-maybe a more stable schedule will help?
some other facts: no wheat, no fruit, no dairy. cals anywhere btwn 2200-2500/day; carbs btwn 200-250g/day, sometimes more. i will also soon have Flameout and Metabolic Drive bars at my disposal.
lifting mid-morning, sprint conditioning in evening-always use Mag-10 pre, peri and post sprints. sprint conditioning in morning on “rest” days (1-2x/wk).
