Background: I’m a 24 yr. old army pilot. I have always been in decent shape, but never the kind that makes people say “wow”. I was a runner for years and then one day I just stopped and let myself get soft. I started weight training a year ago and I think this is going to be the jump start I need to look great for this summer.

Goals:

  1. Look great naked.
  2. Boost confidence.

good luck and thanks for your service

how is it going?? it will get much easier!!!

You should be able to hit a 32 or 33 inch waist for sure.

Keep us posted.

Just got done with the second workout. It was great. Hit 191 today. Let’s hope that it keeps going. My goal is to get to 180. Definitely the hardest part is hanging out with friends and sticking to the shakes only diet.

Time for NEPA.

Day 7:

Did my first v-burn today. 1 hour 18 min. That was a great plyo work-out. I weighed after and was 183. The diet is going great. I will say that the hardest part are the non-workout days. It’s hard to take your mind off eating solid food. Today will be my first HSM. I can’t wait!

Hopefully I can find some time to post more often. Tomorrow will start week two so measurements and pics to follow.

Thanks to everyone for the words of encouragement!

Day 12:

This weekend was pretty rough. My buddies were grilling and drinking. I swear I almost attacked one of them to get at a hamburger and a beer. I made it though. I haven’t been too good at posting my workouts so here is the start.

Bench Press - close grip 170lbs 5X5

Chin-up 3X5 with 30lbs then 2X5 with 25 lbs
