Low Carb Metabolic Drive Usage?

#1

I have been using the Low Carb Metabolic Drive post workout for about 2 months now and I am unsure if that is what it is intended to be used for or not. Honestly I was most attracted to the Metabolic Drive due to the cost of it. What other Biotest products would be better as a post-workout supplement?

Thanks for your help in advance!

<a href="http://www.t-nation.com/store/products/metabolic-drive-low-carb"target=“new”>Metabolic Drive Low Carb is a meal replacement shake, or it can be used as part of a meal to add protein. While it’s a good idea to have some protein after training, Metabolic Drive is not a specialized workout drink.

The top peri-workout nutrition supplement we make is <a href="http://www.t-nation.com/store/products/plazma"target=“new”>Plazma. This is our #1 suggestion for serious lifters and athletes.

If you’re just looking for something to use post-workout, then look into <a href="http://www.t-nation.com/store/products/mag-10"target=“new”>Mag-10 or <a href="http://www.t-nation.com/store/products/surge-recovery"target=“new”>Surge Recovery.

Read up on those and see which one best fits your needs and budget, then we’d be glad to answer any questions you may have.

Metabolic Drive is a protein low carb meal replacement powder or just a way to boost protein intake.

Post workout nutrition only is very old hat knowledge. These days it’s about pre, during and post, which we call peri nutrition.

http://www.T-Nation.com/store/products/plazma Plazma is the top of the line peri nutrition sold by Biotest, you can’t go wrong with it.

http://www.T-Nation.com/store/products/anaconda Anaconda is a great peri nutrition product as well, it’s a generation before Plazma.

If you’re really looking for just a post workout then Surge Recovery is your money ticket!: http://www.T-Nation.com/store/products/surge-recovery I’m a huge fan of the original flavor. Always wanted to taste the chocolate!

Great information thanks alot! While I have your attention I’d like to ask about peri-nutrition. I’ve seen it in many articles here at T-Nation but I’m not tottally sure of the execution of it. I am under the impression that you take a designated amount during your workout and after?

Yes, “peri” just means around your workout: before, during, and after.

Some workout nutrition supplements, such as <a href="http://www.t-nation.com/store/products/plazma"target=“new”>Plazma are also consumed before training (pre-loading the muscles) then another serving or two is consumed during the workout. Others are spread over a workout with a little of it consumed before and a little after.

You can click “label” on each product page in the <a href="http://www.t-nation.com/store/"target=“new”>Biotest Store for details on each.
