Is the Goal Really 40 Planks?

Hi

got one question on the Plank (beginner/Monday/Day 1)…is the goal really to do 40 of these. With the 45 sec rest that would mean almost an hour just doing the planks…I was done after 15 mins onmy first day.

No, it’s one plank (or one each side for the side planks) for as long as you can hold it, then the rest period, then another plank for as long as you can hold it.

How many sets? I have been holding mine for 40sec. at a time…

It’s a static hold, so the word “rep” gets tricky here.

Basically, do it once until you dang near collapse. Rest a bit. Do it again. Go drink your Surge.
