Is Chicken Broth Okay?

I’m on day 2 of the V-Diet, and hope this hasn’t been asked before. Is chicken broth okay? By the end of the day, I feel like I need something salty instead of sweet. My natural nut butter does the trick at the end of the evening, but what about broth during the day? I realize it has a lot of sodium, and I would never have it before weighing in, but was just wondering if the addition of this would hinder my success?


I’m pretty sure it has been asked before, and the answer is no-no broth of any kind. If you want to do this diet and follow it to the T, you cannot change ANYTHING around (it sucks, I know). I don’t know all the details, but this has to do with killing your taste for things, especially sweets. Also-remember you are in the hardest part of the diet-days 3-6 for most people. It gets (slightly) easier the next week!
