HOT-ROX for Contest Prep? When to Take?

#1

I’m 7 weeks away from my first natural bodybuilding competition. I’ve been taking Indigo for about 3 weeks now and I’m ready to add HOT-ROX. Is there anything else that might benefit or am I good with that? My diet is pretty much on point, having low, medium and high carb days, with 3 days a week of HIIT.

Also, is it recommended to take HOT-ROX prior to training to also use it as a pre-workout boost or not? I eat most of my calories and carbs pre, during and postworkout in the evening.

Sure, many <a href="http://www.t-nation.com/store/products/hot-rox-extreme"target=“new”>HOT-ROX users like to take it pre-training for the extra energy boost.

Your supplement plan looks good. You may want to look into <a href="http://www.t-nation.com/store/products/micro-pa"target=“new”>Micro-PA since it works via different mechanisms that what you’re already using. Check out our Micro-PA logs here: http://tnation.t-nation.com/free_online_forum/micro-pa-users?pageNo=1&s=forumsNavTop But if you’re on track and things are progressing as needed, then Indigo-3G and HOT-ROX may be all you need this time around.

Thanks Chris. At 6 weeks out, would you recommend me starting with 2 pills a day, then upping to 4 in a few weeks? Or start straight with 4 a day? I’m pretty tolerant to stimulants and need to lose around another 10-12 lbs of fat. Probably not much of a difference either way, but was just wondering your opinion.

Yea, if you tolerate Hot-Rox well, you may as well start with the full dosage given your deadline.
