His and Her V-Diet

The V-Diet begins… We just ordered our stuff which I have to admit was a little frustrating because we couldn’t place the orders together and Pay pal was giving us trouble…

Anyways the stuff is here and we start tomorrow… WOO HOO… cant wait.

Here is a little about us…

Her: I have recently lost 30lbs and am having a hard time losing the last 25 or so.

Him: I have been pretty much the same for I don’t know how long and just cant seem to trim up.

We eat very well except the monthly pizza and beer which tends to throw us off our game for too long. Its almost like we have to start over again and again.

We are going for a good burger and fries and the first coke I’ve had in a month. And tomorrow we begin… measurements to come.

day 3 no major weight loss, but its just the begining…

Her: The hardest thing for me is the shakes… Im just not a sweet kind of girl… I would rather have a steak over cake or chips over chocolate any day. And when I didn’t think anything could possibly get any sweeter I had the Surge… My god that stuff is not good…

His: Im just Hungry and sore… My job is pritty phisical lots of hauling things up many flights of stairs.

We both had a hard time with the HOT-ROX gonna try one dose a day…

Her: We have become the stinky couple but his is much worse and more frequent… I think I may need a gas mask before this is over LOL.

Her: lost 0lbs

Her: well not much to show for it… the V-burn is today hopefully I will start seeing something.

Friday: Workout + 1 hour of yoga NEPA- walked the dog I think we are going to up the NEPA

Saturday: Extremely sore and tired v-burn tomorrow

Sunday: Didn’t do the V-Burn yesterday will do it today thou. We also get to eat a real meal today. So excited about that! so far the only hang up is the shakes. if they werent sweet I dont think they would be as bad.

Her: I put enough ice in my shake to make ice cream (bad idea) it tastes ok but there is a lot more of it and I got sick of it way before i had half gone… One pluse is making hot chocolate that is probably my favorite so far.

Day 7: still hanging in there… Shakes are getting a little easier to drink.

WOO HOO progress… we are definetely glad to see some decreases.

We are going camping on the spit in homer tomorrow for the night so thats going to be rough, but so much fun… havent been able to enjoy the great outdoors very much up here in alaska. Halibut fishing next weekend. thats going to be hard too.

So its been a while so i have lots to write…

We had a blast fishing and now we have a freezer full of red salmon and halibut that we cant eat at the moment… at least we are ready for after the v-diet.

came back sunday went to sleep at 3:00am (bagging fish) had to get up for work at 5:30am so when work was over we pretty much crashed so didnt get the workout done.

Wednesday: Power yoga. NEPA walked dog

Her: rode bike home from work (5 miles)

Saturday: yummy! food

Monday: rode bike home from work, yoga, weights, walked dog.

Her: crashed at 8:00pm. burnt out (not feelin yoga but got through it) 9 hrs of sleep so I was refreshed on tuesday.

Tuesday: did jui jitsu. fun stuff. walked the dog.

Im sure im leaving stuff out but like I said had lots to write.
