Help With Product Selection

bccnyc asks:

I recently read this article on TN:

which gave the outline listed below for peri-workout nutrition.

I have been trying to find a new peri-workout plan and would like to give this approach a go.

Can you tell me which of your products would be used in this program?

PRE WORKOUT
45 minutes to an hour before a workout:

  • 40 to 50 grams of easily digested functional carbohydrates
  • about 35-40 grams of unique di- and tripeptides

Fifteen minutes prior the workout:

  • another 35 to 40 grams of a special functional carbohydrate blend
  • another 15 to 20 grams of quick-acting protein, also in liquid form.
  • cyanin 3-glucoside (C3G)

DURING WORKOUT
Sip a combination of this same special carbohydrate blend and di- and tripeptide formulation.

POST WORKOUT
Small protein drink or “pulse.”

<a href="http://www.t-nation.com/store/products/finibar-competition-bar"target=“new”>Finibar and <a href="http://www.T-Nation.com/store/products/MAG-10"target=“new”>MAG-10: Those are the 45 minutes pre-workout supplements.

<a href="http://www.t-nation.com/store/products/plazma"target=“new”>Plazma: Just before and during workout.

<a href="http://www.t-nation.com/store/products/indigo-3g"target=“new”>Indigo-3G: That’s the cyanin 3-glucoside (C3G) component.

The post workout “pulse” is also Mag-10.

Gotcha.

Thanks for the quick reply!

It may seem complex, but basically the answer is to simply follow the labels on each of the supplements. You can view the labels in the Biotest store.
