Help Getting Started

This diet sounds good. But having a tough time figuring out how to get it started.
Age: 35
Height: 6 2
Weight: 345
Low calorie: 3907
Hight calorie: 3995

The model was set out for a 220 pound man. I am not, but want to try this diet. Now any one have any ideas on how. Please help
