Flax Replacement?

I can’t stomach the flax - including pills or oil. Is there a substitute for the shakes?

If there’s no supplement, I realize the omega supplement takes care of the nutrients, but then I’m 140 calories short for the day. Which means my body will go into starvation mode ingesting approximately 1,000 calories.

Any suggestions?? I thought about adding in some more protein into the flax shakes now, but I’m not sure?

First make sure your flax isn’t rancid. Most brands recommend storing it in the fridge.

I had one person who couldn’t use flax seed switch to unsweetened coconut flakes. This added some fiber and replaced some of the calories. Replaces some healthy fats too. May be worth a shot.
