Egg and Cheese Biscuits

I used the biscuit recipe that I posted in the “almond flour bread” post. I did add 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese to the recipe because my wife wanted cheesy bread. This morning I got up and thought about making these, and I am glad that I did. I cut the biscuit in half, placed a nuked egg and cheese in the middle. I nuked it again to melt the cheese. One of the biscuits has jalapeno slices on it. I just wish I would have had some bacon. I nuked the egg so that I could use a ramekin to keep the egg in a circular shape. I also made a trukey sandwhich with the cheesy almond flour biscuits last night. Very good as well.

That looks cool! I haven’t tried almond flour biscuits yet.

Here is the biscuit recipe with homemade sloppy joes.

1 lb lean hamburger
1 large onion
2 tbsp mustard
1 tbsp vinegar
2 tbsp splenda
3/4 cup reduced sugar (formally one carb) ketchup

Cook meat and onion together. Once brown, add rest of ingredients. Simmer for 20-30 minutes and done. I ate mine with some pickle chips. Messy, but it was sloppy joes.
