Diary Sensitivity & Very Active Job



Two quick questions:

I have some kind of dairy sensitivity. I wouldn’t say it’s as serious as an intolerance as there are no… …erm… physical manifestations… but my stomach feels bloated and unsettled after consuming dairy. I was considering taking lactase with each shake. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations?

Secondly, I have a very active job. I cycle half an hour to and from work and then I work 11-12 hour shifts as an anaesthetic nurse - so I’m on my feet and very active all day. Should I alter the calories in anyway, and/or does this mean I should/can skip the NEPA activity?

  1. Most people with dairy issues have no issues with Metabolic Drive. If you do, then sure, take whatever helps.

  2. Skip the NEPA if you’d like, though more NEPA never hurts. You can’t overtrain with simple NEPA. If you really feel you need to, you may increase the Metabolic Drive by one scoop for the day.
