Curcumin with Dairy?


I have a couple questions on absorption of curcumin

Is it ok to take curcumin with dairy?
Is it ok to take it on an empty stomach?
Is it better aborbed with fattier meals or with meals in general?


I haven’t heard anything about curcumin and dairy, so I’d say it’s fine, especially both being food-based.

I have read a little about taking curcumin with a fat source to improve absorption, but Biotest’s Curcumin includes piperine specifically to enhance the absorption/effectiveness of the curcumin, so you should be good to go even on an empty stomach.


Agreed. If anything the fat content may help, but it’s not necessary for Curcumin-500.
