Corn as a Carb Source?


Chris, I was wondering about your opinion of corn as a carb choice. There seem to be varying opinions about the sutability of corn as a carb choice.




Not great. Some call it the “worst grain” but that’s debatable. Rice is better overall. Though that doesn’t mean to avoid corn totally. It just shouldn’t be considered a primary source. I don’t mind a little whole corn or the occasional clean corn (non-fried) tortilla.


Out of curiosity, what makes corn a less desirable carb?




Worst fatty acid profile, “toxins” and it’s the most Monsanto’d grain, according the critics.
