stats: 25 y/o, 6’3" 191 lbs, 12-14% BF, ectomorph-type build and fast metabolism.
I was wondering what the best supplementation route would be given my schedule (my main question being the necessity of carbs around cardio). This is my first time dieting. My routine goes as follows:
Wake up and have a mountaindog bowl of 1/3 cup cream of rice, 50g whey isolate, and 1 tbsp almond butter. 45-60 mins later I’m at the gym. I use 2 scoops Plazma intraworkout (sip 25% before, the rest during). An hour or so later I eat 6 oz of chicken breast and 1 cup of basmati rice. The rest of the day all my meals are P+F.
When I get back from work in the late afternoon/evening I’ve been adding in 30-45 mins of low-to-moderate intensity cardio (light running/jogging around hilly terrain) and I’m unsure of what to take before and after. I obviously want to preserve muscle but also want to maximize fat loss.
I have Plazma and MAG-10 at my disposal, along with some BCAAs and whey isolate. I’m thinking a scoop of MAG-10 immediately post cardio (although I wonder if it may be better right before cardio).
