Carbolin 19 and Alpha Male

#1

I am cycling Alpha Male 5 on and 2 off. Can I take Carbolin 19 as recommended? Also what about taking all 4 Alpha Male tablets before bed, as per John Meadows? Thanks Chris.

One method many use is to cycle Alpha Male as directed and use <a href="http://www.t-nation.com/store/products/carbolin-19"target=“new”>Carbolin 19 on off days from Alpha Male.

TC goes over some other options in the comments section here: http://www.t-nation.com/supplements/burn-fat-pile-on-muscle-with-forskolin

For best results with <a href="http://www.t-nation.com/store/products/alpha-male"target=“new”>Alpha Male follow label directions on dosing.

2 Questions for you guys:

  1. The study shown in the Carbolin 19-19 write-up used 50mg/day as the dosage. Is this the daily dosage when using Carbolin 19 or Alpha Male as directed?

  2. Is the Carbolin 19 dosage in Alpha Male equal to the amount in the Carbolin 19 product itself?

Thanks

Ryan, I’m afraid questions like that often fall into the “proprietary formula” category. However, if you click on “Label” on the <a href="http://www.t-nation.com/store/products/carbolin-19"target=“new”>Carbolin 19 page you’ll see that maximal dosage (4 capsules per day) comes to 80mg per day, and it’s delivered properly via our delivery system to insure it all “gets in you” so to speak.

One thing you can always be certain of, Tim Patterson never under-doses anything. (Many supplement companies do, as you know, so they can keep costs down and claim to be giving you more for less, but it’s actually the opposite.)

I understand, thanks Chris.

They are not made for teens as the label indicates, at least not under the age of 18. If T levels are already high, they may get an additional bump, but if T is not really an issue it’s better to fill other holes in their supplement plan, such as workout nutrition if that’s not already optimized. Good article on that here: http://www.t-nation.com/supplements/what-you-dont-know-about-workout-supplementation

For pre workout TC says you should have 30-40g of protein with 40 to 50 carbs this does not match either Plazma nor Mag-10 pulses, but I noticed that’s exactly the number you’d get if you mixed a Mag-10 and Plazma pulse together is that a viable option?

That’s fourty five minutes beforehand

No, those should not be mixed. I think TC may have been thinking of a Finibar with a Mag-10 pulse. It’s fine to use those together.

That’s correct. Thanks, Chris! Sorry for the confusion.
