You read that right, bodybuilder ice cream in 10 minutes. I’m currently on the tail end of a prep, low calorie day today, and was about to make the usual chicken and veggies when I found a recipe online for 10 minute protein ice cream and it TOTALLY WORKED. I totally felt like I was cheating, but wasn’t. What a total treat.
-1-2 scoops Metabolic Drive Protein
-1 Cup unsweetened almond milk
-1 packet stevia
Mix this all in a sandwich ziplock bag and seal/shake
-Fill a gallon ziplock bag half way with ice, then pour in 1/2 cup salt.
-Put the smaller bag with the protein milk inside the larger bag, seal, and gently shake for 10 minutes. I recommend wrapping in a dish towel as it gets VERY COLD.
-10 minutes later, BOOM, ice cream. I dusted mine with some peanut flour.
-This won’t work with any 'ol protein. Metabolic Drive is perfect as it’s a whey/casein blend, the combo and flavor is just right for the proper consistency.
